Introduction to PPE Inspections

This course is intended to give a basic understanding of the safe use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in an Outdoor Activity Centre setting.

It explains how to carry out basic Pre-use Checks of various items of PPE including Ropes, Carabiners, Harnesses, Helmets, Pulleys and Slings. 

The course is ideally suited to Instructors in an Outdoor Education or Adventure setting, either to gain the competence required to carry out pre-use checks or to refresh existing knowledge.
